• Is eVaasal a Real Estate Agent or Portal?

A: BOTH. eVaasal is an online market place for Real Estate Properties (Real Estate Portal) in India, which brings owners, agents and potential buyers together. It also acts as an Agent between sellers and buyers.


• Is eVaasal associated with any Builder, Promoter, Real Estate Agent or Financial Institution?

A: eVaasal is NOT associated with any Builder, Promoter, or Financial Institution. We however have a set of "Preferred Realtors" with whom we work together for our agency operations.


• Is eVaasal really Free?

A: Yes. eVaasal Portal is really Free to use for ALL types users (owners, agents and buyers) at this point for ANY number of property listings.


• Are there any hidden charges?

A: No. There are NO hidden charges of any kind in eVaasal for all FREE services. There are certain servces that would attract nominal Service Charges and those are clearly mentioned in our site.


• What are the Paid Services in eVaasal?

A: Real Estate Broking: if eVaasal acts as an agent between the buyer and seller, there would be a 2% service charge from each side.

Posting Commercial Real Estate Properties


• I am a Real Estate Agent. How do I post properties in eVaasal?

A: The first step in listing your property in eVaasal is to register as an Owner, even for Real Estate Agents. Please click here to list your property.


• Can I list Commercial Properties in eVaasal?

A: Yes. We have now added Commercial Properties listing in eVaasal as a Premim Service. You can list your requirements as well as offerings of Commercial Properties for a nominal fee. Please click here to list your requirements and offerings.


• Can I list properties outside India in eVaasal?

A: No. At this point properties outside India cannot be listed in eVaasal. However, owners living abroad can post their properties in India with eVaasal.

Owner Account

• What is the procedure to list my property for sale or rent on your site?

A: The first step in listing your property in eVaasal is to register as an Owner. Please click here to list your property.


• How much do you charge for posting a property in your web site?

A: At this point, you can list your properties in eVaasal for Free.


• What types of properties can be listed in your site?

A: At this point, you can list Residential Apartment, Residential Bungalow, Independent House, Agricultural Land, Farm House, and Residential Land, for sale, rent or lease.


• How do I Login?

A: You can login to eVaasal using your email id and password, by clicking on the "Sell/Lease" link at the top of any page.


• Why is the new property I posted not visible immediately?

A: eVaasal staff would review each new property and activate them. This would happen within one business day of your adding of the new property. This is to avoid showing incomplete/invalid listings. If your property is not listed even after two business days and you feel that your listing is genuine, please contact us by email.


• How do I make my property as "Featured Property"?

A: All new properties are automatically listed as "Featured Property" for free for one month from the date of posting. If you want to continue to list your property as "Featured Property" after that, please contact us and you can do that for a nominal fee.


• How do I change the information on my listing?

A: You can change any information in your listing by logging into eVaasal account. If you have more than one property listed, then you will be shown a list of all your properties, after you login. You can select the property that you want to modify and then modify the information that you want to.


• What type of details can be added in my property listing?

A: The details you can add varies with the property type. For any type of property, you can add upto 4 photos and have separate contact information for each property. Please check out the sample property listing for Residential Apartment.


• How can potential buyers contact me?

A: Registered buyers can contact you by using the in-built eVaasal messaging system and you can view such queries by logging into your eVaasal account. Any potential buyer can also contact you using your contact numbers or email id.


• What should I do to get more enquiries from buyers?

A: Try to provide as much details about your property as you can and also enter the proper city name, pin code, state etc. These would ensure that your properties are shown in more searches and which in turn would bring more enquiries from buyers. Adding photographs of your property would also attract more potential buyers.


• How many properties can I post?

A: At this point, you can post any number of properties in eVaasal.


• How do I remove the listing when my property is sold or rented out?

A: You can remove the listing at any time by logging into eVaasal account and clicking on the "Remove Property" button. Any listing would be automatically removed after 6 months from the date of posting.

Buyer/Renter Account

• Should I register to search and view property listings in your site?

No. You can search and view property listings in eVaasal without registration. However, we strongly recommend that you do register!


• Why should I register?

A: There are two main advantages to registering with eVaasal as a buyer. First, you can contact the owners easily using the in-built eVaasal messaging system and you can view responses to such queries by logging into your eVaasal account. Second, you can add the listings you like to your Favorites and view them any time without searching for them. Please click here to register.


• How do I Login?

A: You can login to eVaasal using your email id and password, by clicking on the "Buy / Rent" link at the top of any page.


• How do I contact the owner/seller?

A: If you are a registered buyer, you can contact the owners using the in-built eVaasal messaging system. You can also contact them using the contact numbers or email id shown in the listing.


• How do I list details about the property I want to Buy or Rent?

A: You can use the online enquiry form to describe the details about the property you want to Buy or Rent and it will appear in the Properties Wanted page

Property Searches

• How do I search for properties to buy or rent?

A: You can click on the "Search" link at the top of any page to reach the Search page. If you know the Property Id of the property, you can directly type that in the box and view that property. Otherwise, you can type the city name and/or select the state to see the corresponding list of properties posted. You can also restrict the search to properties posted for sale or rent/lease.


• What is an "Advanced Search"?

A: "Advanced Search" gives you more options for searching. You can search using the Pin code or city/state to see the corresponding list of properties posted. Along with this location information, you can also search by the Property Type, Price Range, and Listings with Photo etc. You can also restrict the search to properties posted for sale or rent/lease.


• How can I search for a property to buy?

A: You can use simple or advanced search, and select the option "Listed for Sale".


• How can I search for a property for rent?

A: You can use simple or advanced search, and select the option "Listed for Rent/Lease".


• How can I search for properties in a city and I do not know the state?

A: You can use simple or advanced search, and simply type the city name and do not select the state.


• How can I search for properties in any city in a state?

A: You can use simple or advanced search, and simply select the state and leave the city name blank.


• Why can't I find any property listing when I do a search?

A: It may be because there are no properties matching your criteria. You can try again with fewer conditions/restrictions.


• Why don't some listings contain all of the necessary property details like number of bedrooms or bathrooms?

A: It may be because the owner has chosen not to add such information. We would continue to encourage all owners to add as much information as they can to facilitate better results.


• What can I do if I do not find the properties of my choice?

A: You can post your complete property requirements thru our Online Enquiry form. We would find you matching properties that are not listed in eVaasal thru our private database and preferred realtors. This would be an eVaasal agency service and would include our service charges.
